Welcome back to the vault, today I found two classmates within my 8th period who have some very interesting camera shots I'd like to share. First being Jadelyn Rodriguez, in 11th grade. And Tiffany Hu, in 10th grade. Starting with Jadelyn, the shots I looked at from her blog was her full body shot and overhead shot. The full body shot had shown the entire body and the background. Emotions I felt from this were focus, on the character and only what she was doing at the moment. Long shots/Full body shots are meant to evoke the feeling of focus on that characters body language especially, and a little less on the background. Overhead shot was the next shot that had shown the top heads of four characters having a conversation. What I felt during this scene that I had power to understand everything around them. As I could see the top and they couldn't I could also equally in a powerful manner see everyone in the shot. Moving onto Tiffany Hu, she used a extreme close up shot and wide shot. Firstly using the wide shot, it had shown two character but from a far distance. The two characters in the middle had been doing an action of skipping but it didn't matter because the background seemed more essential to what was happening. Lastly the extreme close up, had shown many a flower in detail. As in, every movement and petal was shown detail. The emotions that came to be at first was an observation feeling. I felt very happy to examine the small things within this object.
